The character
XL: its place in the collection
Our XL size is reserved exclusively for pulls. It doesn’t come as a knob, and that’s by design: at this scale, what matters is the line, the horizontal stretch, the geometric trace it draws across the front. It’s the boldest handle in the collection, the one chosen to sign a piece, to direct the eye, to give rhythm to a perspective.

Uses for the XL format
In pull knobs
The XL’s default center-to-center is 192 mm. It’s a dimension built for large-scale pieces: very wide kitchen drawers (tall pot drawers, drawers beneath the cooktop), pantry doors, full-height closet doors, long sideboard fronts, large-format entryway furniture fronts, wardrobe doors. On these expansive fronts, a smaller handle looks timid and throws off the composition. The XL, by contrast, follows the width, underscores it, gives it rhythm.
The XL can also be ordered with a smaller center-to-center (160, 128, or 96 mm) while keeping its full overall length. This customization keeps the handle’s elongated look while adapting to existing drill holes, particularly when replacing handles on older furniture or on a piece whose interior structure dictates fixed mounting points.
Pose & fixation
How to install it
Two drillings are required, spaced according to the version ordered. At this dimension, the layout must be perfectly aligned: the slightest angle deviation shows immediately over a 192 mm span. We recommend a cardboard or wood template, or even guided drilling, to ensure a clean alignment. On full-height doors, the vertical position of the handle is also worth considering: too low, and it throws the door off balance; too high, and it weighs down the eye.
By touch
The hand and the gesture
The XL handle offers a very generous grip, meant to be held in the full palm rather than fingertips. Opening it becomes almost a two-step pulling motion, especially on tall closet doors or large, heavy drawers. It’s a scale you feel in the hand before you even see it, one that turns a functional front into a lived gesture.

Sizes and Patterns
Are All Finishes and Patterns Available in Size XL?
Nearly all finishes, yes. As for patterns, the more detailed ones (lions, fine scrollwork) gain clarity at size M and above: on a very small size, an intricate design reads less clearly. The exact combinations of size, pattern, and material appear at the moment of choice, on the product page. When in doubt about a sculptural pattern, go with M or a larger size.
Center-to-center spacing and drilling
Can I Order a Size with a Non-standard Center-to-center?
Yes. Most of our two-point sizes can be ordered with custom drilling, around the standard values of 96, 128, and 160 mm depending on the size. Just note the center-to-center you need in the order comments. The handle's overall length stays the same, only the screw positions shift to line up with your existing holes. It's the solution for replacing an old handle without redrilling your front.

Choosing your size
What Size Handle for a Kitchen or a Walk-in Closet?
In the kitchen, size M (128 mm center-to-center) is the safe choice for recent door and drawer fronts; for large pot and pan drawers, move up to L (160 mm) or XL (192 mm). In a closet, XL matches the verticality of full-height doors, while M or S stay discreet on interior drawers. The general rule: match the handle's presence to the scale of the piece. When in doubt, a medium size works almost everywhere.
Does Size XL Fit My Furniture?
Each size has its favorite pieces, detailed in the Uses section at the top of this page. The simple rule: match the handle's presence to the piece of furniture, a small drawer calls for a small size, a large front can take a longer one without looking overwhelmed. Size XL fits within that logic of proportion. If you're replacing a two-point pull, the main thing to check is that its center-to-center matches your existing holes.
