Two fixings set at a fixed distance apart (the center-to-center measurement), an elongated shape, a linear gesture. The gesture dictates the shape
Unlike a knob, which you grab with your fingertips, a pull is held with the whole hand, gripping the bar along its length. It is a horizontal pulling motion: precise, functional, built to handle weight. On a full-height closet door, a knob would feel inadequate; a pull distributes the effort for a comfortable grip.

The center-to-center measurement is the distance between the two fixing holes. Common standards are 96mm, 128mm, 160mm, and 192mm, depending on the width of the drawer or door.
