Our handles for architects and professionals
Professionals and Architects
Do You Work with Architects and Interior Designers?
Yes, we regularly work with interior designers, decorators, and firm architects on residential and commercial projects. You get a dedicated point of contact, physical samples, and careful coordination to keep the same handle family consistent across an entire project. When several batches are needed, we coordinate production so they move forward together.
Do You Work with Hotel, Restaurant, or Commercial Projects?
Yes. Our handles already equip several hotel and commercial projects, in France and abroad. For this type of project, we align our timeline with your schedule, set up enhanced quality tracking, and offer finish options suited to public use, such as your logo marked in relief. The best step is to book a project meeting so we can scope the need together.
Do You Have a Showroom Where Visitors Can See the Pieces?
Our workshop is located in Paris, in the 13th arrondissement, and we welcome professionals there by appointment. You see the full range in person, feel the materials and finishes, and we talk through your project with actual pieces in hand rather than on a screen. To arrange a time, write to us via the contact Holdon Paris page.
Can I Visit the Workshop?
Yes, by appointment, as part of a professional project or partnership. We'll walk you through our process: 3D modeling the design, casting a mold from that master, cold casting our metal pieces, then hand sanding and hand-applied patina. This craftsmanship is often something you can highlight in your own proposal to your end client.
Do You Work with Architects Based Abroad?
Yes. Our handles already equip projects across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and we can communicate in French, English, and Hebrew. International quotes include shipping and all necessary customs documents, proforma invoice and declaration included. For a high-volume order, we can also arrange a consolidated shipment to a local freight forwarder of your choice, to streamline logistics and customs clearance.
Can I Order in Very Large Quantities for a Project?
Yes. We regularly handle orders of several hundred pieces for hotel projects or real estate developments. Production time scales with volume, and we can offer staggered delivery if that suits you better, for instance by batch as furniture is installed on site. Tell us about the volume and timeline as early as possible: that's what lets us hit your dates.
Is There a Minimum Quantity Required to Start a Professional Project?
No, there's no set threshold for professional support: we work with anything from a small custom program to a job of several hundred pieces. That said, certain benefits, like tiered pricing or staggered delivery, kick in past a certain volume, specified in the quote. The simplest approach is to tell us about your project so we can let you know what applies to your case.
Do You Offer Volume Pricing for Large Orders?
Yes. Past a certain volume, which varies by model and material, tiered professional pricing applies. The quote is built around your specific quantity, the complexity of the finish requested, and the desired lead time. The earlier you give us these details, the more precise the pricing.
Can I Get Professional Pricing Regardless of Order Volume?
Yes. Architects, decorators, fitters, and partner retailers get a standing trade rate that doesn't depend on order quantity. Just open a professional account and have your status verified. Once the account is active, that rate applies to all your orders.
Can I Order Samples as a Professional?
Yes. We offer sample kits designed for architects and decorators: an assortment of materials and finishes on a neutral silhouette, easy to present to your clients. It's the best way to judge the sheen, the weight in hand, and the patina before settling on your choice. Request one through the Holdon Paris contact page, noting your profession.
Do Professional-grade Users, Such as Hotels, Offices, or Shops, Still Hold up under Intensive Daily Use?
Yes for the metal finishes, bronze, copper, brass, and aluminum, which hold up very well under heavy use and the cleaning routine of a public-facing establishment. For these especially high-demand settings, we'd steer you away from bioresin and certain light-colored finishes, which show wear more visibly. Tell us about the actual use case and we'll point you toward the finishes that will age best.
What Documents Are Required to Open a Business Account?
Three things are enough to activate your trade pricing: a business registration document less than three months old (Kbis extract, or the equivalent commercial register entry for a foreign company), your EU VAT number if you have one, and a photo ID for the account's manager or contact person. Add a short description of your business, architect, interior fitter, hotelier, restaurateur, or reseller. Send it all through the Holdon Paris contact page: the account is usually activated within a few business days, after which you get access to trade pricing, samples, and volume discounts.
Do You Accept Payment Terms of 30 Days End of Month?
Yes, for established professional accounts and on orders that exceed a certain threshold. The exact terms, minimum amount, any guarantees, and credit coverage are defined case by case based on your business, your history, and the nature of the project. For a first order, we generally require a deposit at the time of order, with the balance due 30 days end of month upon invoice.
Can You Time the Fabrication to My Construction Site's Schedule?
Yes, that's something we plan for right at the quote stage. We start from your installation dates and work backward to deliver at the right time, with the option to stagger deliveries by phase as furniture is installed. If the schedule shifts mid-project, let us know early: on runs of several hundred pieces, advance notice is what lets us hold your deadlines.
Do You Provide Technical Documentation for My Project Files?
Yes. On request, we provide the piece dimensions, center-to-center measurements, materials and finishes chosen, along with rendering visuals useful for your client presentation. For international projects, the quote also includes shipping and customs documents. Tell us the format you need for your file and we'll prepare the corresponding materials.
Delivery, Customs, Payment, and Support
How Long Will It Take to Receive My Handles?
Each handle is made to order in our Paris atelier. Allow an average of 5 to 10 business days for production, plus the carrier's delivery time, which varies by address. You'll receive an email with the tracking number as soon as the shipping label is issued, generally between the 5th and 10th business day after your order.
Are Your Payment Methods Secure? What Payment Options Do You Offer?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe, as well as PayPal. Transactions run through these two international references in online payment: Holdon Paris never sees and never stores your card number, all sensitive data is transmitted encrypted to the platform. The site runs entirely on HTTPS. For large professional orders, bank transfer with a deposit is possible (see architects and professionals).
Can I Return My Order if I Don't Like It?
Yes. French law gives you 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, with no need to justify it. The handles must be returned in their original condition, uninstalled, and return shipping is at your expense unless the error is ours: the refund is issued within 14 days of receipt at our workshop. To start a return, write to us via contact Holdon Paris: we'll send you the address and the process. Custom and personalized pieces are not eligible for the right of withdrawal, since they are made specifically for you.
