Custom Cabinet Handles

A tone exactly matched, your initials on every drawer, a pattern that belongs only to you. Holdon designs and makes one-of-a-kind handles in its Paris atelier, from a simple adjustment to a piece created entirely for a project.

Atelier in Paris

Small series

No-obligation quote

The principle

The atelier of the custom, a craft

Every Holdon handle is already made to order, in Paris. That’s what lets us go further than the catalog: adjust a dimension, fine-tune a shade, create a pattern that exists nowhere else.

Custom work isn’t a checkbox. It’s atelier craft, from modeling to bronze casting, through to patina and hand-sanding. It’s priced project by project and comes with a quote, separate from the catalog price.

We only take on a piece once we know we can make it to the house’s standard.

Cabinet handle as a gift

Rare piece

A gift beyond compare

The budget

How much does it cost?

The custom price of a made-to-order piece adds to the catalog price. But the added cost comes down to reason, and it depends above all on what you’re asking for.

The quantity

Think series

Cabinet handles, one drawer front at a time: dial it in for 15 to 30 pieces, and the cost per handle quickly becomes marginal.

Initials & logo

A light addition

A skinny handle text, cold-cast metal to translate.

We start from one of our pieces and build in your signature. The result stays close to the catalog.

Complete Creation

A true drawing

A cool new pattern takes more work. It’s more engaging, but rarely as much as we imagine.

The simplest option: describe your project and we’ll give you an exact quote, free of charge and with no obligation.

Frequently asked questions

Your custom cabinet handles

Custom

Do You Offer Custom, Made-to-order Pieces?

Yes. Our handles are made to order in our Paris atelier, which gives us real latitude to go beyond the catalog. We range from custom color to raised initials or a logo, from an exclusive pattern to a numbered series. Custom work remains a separate service, on top of the catalog, priced according to your project. Every request gets its own dedicated quote, which we put together as quickly as possible after your message.

Can I Order a Size, Material, or Finish That Isn't in the Catalog?

Often, the size or center-to-center you're looking for already exists in the catalog: in that case, no custom work is needed, and the lead time stays the same as a standard order, around 5 to 10 days. For a material or finish outside our range, write to us through the contact page with your project details. We'll get back to you with a feasibility assessment and a quote, cost and lead time specified together.

Can I Have My Initials or a Logo Added?

Yes. Initials, a monogram, or a logo are designed into the handle's pattern and then added in relief: they're sculpted onto the master, captured in the mold, and cast with the piece. Nothing is engraved afterward, the relief is one with the handle. The modeling work and mold making are priced in the quote.

Is a Precise, Off-catalog Color Possible?

Yes, from a Pantone or RAL reference, or a physical sample you send us. We develop the color on the chosen material, then submit it to you for approval before production starts, to avoid any surprise on arrival. Developing a custom color is quoted, with its timeline specified in the quote.

Can I Offer a Fully Custom Pattern?

Yes. Starting from your sketches, a photo, or a drawing, we create a 3D model and print a prototype to validate the shape with you. Once the prototype is approved, we take the mold and cast the piece in the atelier, with hand sanding and patina. A brand new pattern takes more development work: cost and timeline are confirmed with the quote.

Do You Offer Limited or Numbered Editions?

Yes, made to order. A numbered series can be produced for an architecture project, a signed edition, a hospitality project, or an exceptional gift. Each piece carries its number and a certificate of authenticity. The run size, production pace, and quote are set with you according to the scope of the project.

How Much for a Custom Piece, and How Long Does It Take?

It all depends on your project: color, raised initials, a brand new pattern, or a numbered series don't call for the same modeling and mold work. For that reason, custom work is always established with a quote, with no fixed pricing grid, and the timeline is specified in that same quote. On a series of several pieces, this development work is spread out and weighs less and less per piece. Send us your request through the contact page, and we'll get back to you quickly with pricing and a schedule.

Delivery, Customs, Payment, and Support

How Long Will It Take to Receive My Handles?

Each handle is made to order in our Paris atelier. Allow an average of 5 to 10 business days for production, plus the carrier's delivery time, which varies by address. You'll receive an email with the tracking number as soon as the shipping label is issued, generally between the 5th and 10th business day after your order.

Are Your Payment Methods Secure? What Payment Options Do You Offer?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe, as well as PayPal. Transactions run through these two international references in online payment: Holdon Paris never sees and never stores your card number, all sensitive data is transmitted encrypted to the platform. The site runs entirely on HTTPS. For large professional orders, bank transfer with a deposit is possible (see architects and professionals).

Can I Return My Order if I Don't Like It?

Yes. French law gives you 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, with no need to justify it. The handles must be returned in their original condition, uninstalled, and return shipping is at your expense unless the error is ours: the refund is issued within 14 days of receipt at our workshop. To start a return, write to us via contact Holdon Paris: we'll send you the address and the process. Custom and personalized pieces are not eligible for the right of withdrawal, since they are made specifically for you.
