Unlike a knob, which you grab with your fingertips, a pull is held with the whole hand, gripping the bar along its length. The center-to-center measurement is the distance between the two fixing holes. Common standards are 96mm, 128mm, 160mm, and 192mm, depending on the width of the drawer or door. Pull handles fasten with two screws set a precise distance apart. This calls for careful drilling: for a replacement, the center-to-center must match the existing one; for a new installation, you’re free to choose among the standard sizes (96, 128, 160, 192mm) or go custom.
